A Guide to “Brooklyn’s Lincoln Center”
Mark Morris Dance Center
Across the street (and a block away) from BAM’s main building, this center opened in September 2001. While it includes a performance space, you’re more likely to see the Mark Morris Dance Group in New York at Lincoln Center. Instead, it’s most notable for its several column-free, wood-floor studios, available for rent at steep discounts to non-profit dance companies, making it a major hub for dance in Brooklyn. 3 Lafayette Avenue.
