Everything You Need To Do In Brooklyn Before The Summer Is Over
See a Show at the Prospect Park Bandshell
You may have missed some of this summer’s bigger acts like Belle & Sebastian, Yo La Tengo, and Beck, but Celebrate Brooklyn still has a few tricks up its sleeve before the season is out. Namely, none other than Shaggy, who’s playing this Friday for free (or the low suggested donation of $3). Aren’t you at least kind of curious to see what Shaggy’s live show is all about? Well, if not, They Might Be Giants are playing on Saturday with Moon Hooch, also for free or a suggested donation. Go to one, go to both, think about how nice it is that even in our current climate of largely unchecked capitalism, public green space and free entertainment are still alive and well.
