Brooklyn Baby Gifts for a Royal (And Also Any Baby You Might Need to Buy a Gift For in the Next Few Months)
Farm to Baby Delivery Food Service, $35-$80 per week
To one day be a strong, strapping king (and also don’t forget a sweet, sensitive one with general concern and respect for humanity), a baby’s diet needs fresh, seasonal foods grown with locally sourced ingredients. Greenpointers Lauren Utvitch and Marshall Reaves have made this incredibly easy on the parents in question, launching Farm to Baby last year, a subscription-based food service where the menu—golden beets, great northern beans with braised kale, parsnip bread budding, and the like—comes entirely from local farms and is delivered straight to your door or, in this case, the door of a tired mother/father who you’re gifting. Delivery is only available in Brooklyn and south of 96th Street in Manhattan as of now, so getting it overseas may present a few problems, but, luckily, you knowing the Duke and Duchess and buying them a baby gift is just pretend. Take those efforts and relieve a Brooklyn mom or dad with a week or two of healthy, delicious, convenient baby food.
