Abigail Bereola

Abigail Bereola has grown up all over the place. A 2016 Callaloo Fellow for Fiction, she has also attended Sarah Lawrence College’s Summer Seminar for Writers. Currently residing in Brooklyn, New York, she aims to be a socially conscious creative and is interested in multidisciplinary work centering around audio, film, and writing.
On February 6, 2015, Losing Ground opened at the Film Society of Lincoln Center. Centering on a summer during the unraveling marriage of a professor and an artist, this was its first theatrical run. Intended to play at the theater for one week, it was extended to last for twenty days due to its popularity.
