The Best Halloween Parties in Brooklyn and Beyond
A carefully vetted, hand-picked round-up of all the best (read: cutest, sexiest, creepiest, and most displacing), Halloween parties in and around Brooklyn this year
For the first time in what feels like ages, Halloween falls on a Friday. If this is somehow the first time you’re putting the pieces together, you read that right—in 2025, a year deeply, destructively haunted by any and all metrics—we very fittingly get to experience NYC in rare and full feral mode, presumably with hundreds of K-Pop Demon Hunters and One Battle After Another Leo DiCaprios running around looking for tricks and treats, for not one night, but as many as three (or four, with enough gumption).
That’s all to say there’s a whole damn Halloweekend ahead, and we’ve taken it upon ourselves to save you the time, sweat, tears, and deliberation of sifting through fliers and ticketing app listings, and get you right to all the crazy, scary, spooky, and, of course, hilarious, Fright Nights the city has to offer.
Here’s a carefully vetted, hand-picked round-up of all the best (read: cutest, sexiest, creepiest, and most displacing), Halloween parties in and around Brooklyn this year.

The Last Dance: A Burlesque Murder Mystery @ 1514 Loft
October 28
1514 Loft, Bed-Stuy’s “queer living room,” is hosting “The Last Dance,” a burlesque murder mystery party. Described as an “intimate evening of mystery, seduction, and performance as the story of Ruby Noir’s final dance unfolds,” guests get to dive into the mystery, fueled by an open bar (for All Access ticket holders) to become detectives to solve the mystery. Not only that, but “sultry performances” are promised for what sounds like a pretty horny evening.

Julio Torres Presents: The Cursed Amulet @ SAA
October 30
For the second year, actor and comedian Julio Torres will be throwing his Halloween party, “The Cursed Amulet.” Last year’s spooky celebration was at Elsewhere and was littered with Torres’ alt-comedy pals, like Patti Harrison dressed as Michael Jackson. This year, the festivities will be at SAA, East Williamsburg’s own Soho House-esque private club, beginning at 10 p.m. It’s again likely to be a who’s who of the New York comedy scene, but this year Torres has gathered hosts like Real Housewives of SLC standout Bronwyn Newport and “it” girl model and photographer Richie Shazam. NYC’s eccentric fashion plate Julia Fox will be judging costumes, and celebs like Karen Gilliam and Steve Bucsemi will be in attendance. For this one, the weirder and queerer the better—so pull up in your best Halloween finery.

Joyspace @ Joyface
October 31
NYC’s hottest 30+ club, Joyface, is likely going to have a banger of a Halloween party with “Joyspace,” an aptly titled and cleverly themed throwdown that requires entrants to dress for an interplanetary evening. “We want space suits, NASA, aliens, black holes, stars, silver, shiny, anything and everything space related or however you interpret it.” If you want something that’s not EDM-related, Joyface is going to have a disco inferno. And, judging from the Instagram post of last year’s soiree, people are going all out.

Peg’s Inferno @ Peg’s Cavalier
October 31
Ridgewood’s cutest (sorry to spill it) secret spot, Peg’s Cavalier, is transforming into “Peg’s Inferno” this Friday for their 3rd annual Halloween party, which promises to be lit with devilishly good DJs, a costume contest, and no cover whatsoever. Spend what you save at the door on their fun cocktails and burn the night away.

Dead2Me 2 @ Xanadu
October 31
Bushwick’s premiere (and only, for the moment), roller skating rink Xanadu is throwing Dead2Me 2—described as an “immersive Halloween rave of your horny nightmares.” While skating won’t be on the menu for the night, there will be multiple rooms of gore and whores. Video snippets of the party tease debauchery, blood, and a lot of partially naked hotties. There’ll be multiple DJs, including the very fun “trans slut rock” NYC-based band Um, Jennifer, and local viral chef hottie Gio Luciano. The simple Google doc linking to tickets also directs to a Wikipedia page about the “dancing plague of 1518,” so prepare to dance until you’re dead, if we understand the reference correctly.

Elsewhere Halloween @ Elsewhere
October 31
If you wanna go hard and get sweaty on Halloween, Brooklyn’s infamous Elsewhere is hosting multiple Halloween parties. On the early end of the evening, The Hall will have a DJ set from up-and-coming indie musician Chanel Beads, and the late bill is set to feature multiple selectors spinning throughout the whole venue.

The Heist @ Old Savings Bank
October 31
This one-night-only affair hosted in the literal vault of the Old Savings Bank in One Hanson Place is a singular Halloween experience. The 150-year-old bank will host a three-story party for Fright Night, with a DJ, multiple bars, and a huge dance party on the main floor, setting up the DJ and a dance floor in the bank’s vault room to honor the whole “heist” thing.

Singers Haunted Hotel @ TBD location
October 31
Bed-Stuy’s best bar, Singers, known for its annual Twinks vs. Dolls pride event, is hosting its annual Haunted Hotel event somewhere undisclosed in the depths of Bushwick. There’ll be a costume contest, many floors of DJs, and 13 rooms of haunted horrors. The “Singers Players” will be presenting some sort of play based on a New Order/Joy Division musical number. If you’ve ever stepped through their doors on Kosciuszko, you already know this’ll be a fun and slightly deranged night out.

Death by Disco @ City Winery
October 31 and November 1
City Winery is hosting Death by Disco, a Halloween pop-up stretched across two days, with 40+ DJs, free tattoos, and palm readings. There’ll also be stilt walkers and aerialists to go along with all the scares and goodies, and tables can be reserved to aid your post-tat recovery.

Tell No One @ The McKittrick Hotel
October 31 and November 1
The McKittrick Hotel, the former home of “Sleep No More,” the experiential theater production of Macbeth, is returning to its dramatic roots with “Tell No One,” a Halloween masquerade series sprawled out over four nights. The six-floor building will be turned into an immersive world inspired by “The Garden of Earthly Delights” by Hieronymus Bosch. Each night will feature different music and performances for an entirely new experience every night. On Halloween proper, they’ll be partnering with Dreamland to host the city’s largest gay party.
