All of The “No Kings” Rallies Happening in NYC This Weekend
A separate event with Senator Bernie Sanders will be held in the Bronx on Sunday to call on Governor Kathy Hochul to tax the wealthiest New Yorkers
This Saturday, March 28, the streets of New York will be inundated with the dissenting chants and stomps of protestors fulfilling a sacred civic duty, as the “No Kings” rallies return to the five boroughs for the third time in just a year and change of the second Trump administration.
The first (and likely not last) installment of 2026 will have nine official events throughout NYC and in each borough, according to the No Kings website. Brooklyn’s rally assembles on Garfield Place between 8th Avenue and Prospect Park West in Park Slope; the Bronx’s meeting point is at Grand Concourse and East 161st Street; and there’s a trio of rallies in Queens, one meeting at MacDonald Park, another at the Rockaway Beach Amphitheater, and the third at Union Turnpike and Francis Lewis Boulevard in Fresh Meadows.
Manhattan will host the main show, with a mass march gathering at 7th Avenue and Central Park South, but also separate rallies at West 125th and Amsterdam Avenue in West Harlem and the Denny Farrell Pedestrian Bridge in Washington Heights. And, yes, even secession-minded Staten Island will have its own iteration, meeting at Victory Boulevard and Little Cove Road at an event organized by the Staten Island 4 the People coalition.
In addition to the organization-sanctioned events, another rally will be held at Lehman College in the Bronx on Sunday to push Governor Kathy Hochul to increase taxes on the wealthiest New Yorkers. It’s slated to feature an appearance from Midwood’s own Senator Bernie Sanders. Anticipating some resistance to the resistance, No Kings advises “all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events,” according to its site. It maintains “a core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action.”
You can find the precise locations and times for each event over on their site.
