15 Things to Do in Brooklyn This November
What you need to check out in the borough this month
November’s here, and while it will presumably get colder, for now, it’s (relatively) warm, and there’s a lot going on—starting with a presidential election.
Barclays Center stays busy all month, starting with the R&B Forever Tour on Nov. 9. The evening features TGT, a supergroup consisting of Tyrese, Ginuwine, and Tank. Later, on Nov. 15 and 16, Kacey Musgraves brings her Deeper Well World Tour to Brooklyn alongside Lord Huron and Nickel Creek.
The 20th Annual New York Comedy Festival also comes to Brooklyn, delivering shows throughout the borough between Nov. 7 and 17—including Gabriel Iglesias at Kings Theatre and Second City New York’s big festival debut.
For the borough’s many runners, the Brooklyn Fall Half Marathon, in both 10K and 5K iterations, steps off in Prospect Park on Nov. 10. And before you drift off into a tryptophan-induced coma, you can run the 2024 Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving.
Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s popular “Lightscape” returns with illuminated sculptures on Nov. 22 and runs through Jan.5. And if you’re in search of over-the-top holiday lighting, Dyker Heights Christmas light tours resume on Nov. 29.
