Goodbye Blue Monday Selling Off All Its Stuff
Want to own a little piece of Goodbye Blue Monday? Now’s your last chance. The Bushwick venue and bar, which shuttered in November, was famous for its scrappy decor, plus all the assorted trinkets, records, books, and so forth that were scattered around the place. Today and tomorrow you can stop by the place to pick up something from their liquidation sale.
The venue posted an alert on their social media channels that all items must go, starting at 1 p.m. today and going on tomorrow as well:
GOODBYE BLUE MONDAY IS LIQUIDATING ITS REMAINING CONTENTS TODAY 12/30 AND TOMORROW 12/31 BEGINNING AT 1pm EACH DAY. art, tchochkes, thousands of records, books, magazines – everything’s got to go and no reasonable offer refused – my friend Tito is overseeing the liquidation. COME AND GET IT!!!
You heard ’em, folks. Go get those tchochkes. Those, and some of the furniture from the now defunct Park Slope Tea Lounge can complete your collection of mid-aughts Brooklyn culture artifacts.
