Brooklyn’s 10 Best Beach Eats (Ok, Queens and Long Island Too)
Manhattan Beach (at Oriental Boulevard)
If you walk across that funny little bridge in Sheepshead Bay, towards the massive McMansions and the streets with the British names, and continue down one avenue, that’s Manhattan Beach. You’re welcome. But before you cross that bridge, stock up on delicious eats on Emmons Avenue, like a soft-shell crab sandwich (officially in season!) and a side of zucchini fries at the landmark seafood shack, Randazzo’s, or cross the Cherry Hill parking lot and duck into the 75-year old Jimmy’s Famous Heroes, for a classic Italian sub with salami, capicola, mortadella and “the works.”
