The Not-to-Miss Bands at the Out in the Streets Festival This Weekend
Honduras
“Borders,” from Honduras’ Morality Cuts EP, is the maybe perfect punk song — equal parts gleefully savage and cooly detached. There’s something distinctly New York about it all; you can almost hear a layer of grime seeping out from frontman’s Pat Phillips jaded delivery (he of course only enunciates the word “danger!”). Playing it outdoors behind a Dutch Colonial cottage — an homage to NYC? Sure.
