The 10 Best Lunch Options In DUMBO

No, this isn’t the soup. But maybe some of these things go into some of the soups? Sure. Why not?
Soup at Foragers
So, Foragers gets a lot of shit for being way overpriced and…that’s not totally off-base. There are things for sale at the gourmet grocery store that can be purchased at neighboring Peas & Pickles for a fraction of the price. But there are still good lunch options to be found at Foragers that won’t necessarily break the bank. And, no, I don’t mean the refrigerated sushi or the stratospherically priced sandwiches. I’m talking about the soup. For under $5-7 (depending on the size), Foragers offers two different soups daily with a rotating cast of flavors, one usually being gluten- and dairy-free. Recent options have included posole soup, chicken and sausage jambalaya, New England clam chowder, and curried butternut squash. Also, it’s self-serve and there are sample cups so that you can try both flavors and decide which one is the best. Spoiler: both options will be amazing and you’ll have a hard time choosing.
