A Guide to Dining Out in Brooklyn on Christmas and Christmas Eve
Saul: Besides the serious art on the walls, the new Brooklyn Museum location of Saul remains largely unchanged from its original Smith Street incarnation. And that includes traditions like their own La Viglia dinner, seven crustacean-centric courses (plus dessert) for $125pp. The lofty price tag is well worth it if you consider the luxurious dishes on offer, like fried anchovies with citrus aioli, citrus marinated Japanese sardines, baccalao soup, charred Spanish octopus with beluga lentils, saffron tagliatelle with sea urchin, Alaskan spot prawns in a carrot coconut curry, and roasted monkfish with brussels sprouts, wild mushrooms and red wine.
