Jersey Jewish: Jon-Jon Deragon at Crif Dogs
There’s no shortage of Brooklyn foodstuffs masquerading as everything bagels (the roti at Talde, the pasta from Sfoglini, the turkey croissant at Smith Canteen), but we’re giving it up to Crif Dogs, who’ve also factored in the borough’s passion for forcemeat. You’ve gotta love the deep-fried Jon-Jon Deragon, deliciously (some would say unnecessarily) topped with cream cheese, scallions, and everything bagel seeds.
