Here Are Five Islands That Cost Less Than Many New York Apartments
And finally, there’s Campbell Island in the Hudson River, which can be yours for $549,000. And it’s almost 100-acres of land! That’s not as big as Prospect Park, but still. And Prospect Park is pretty easy to get lost in. You’d probably never get lost on Campbell Island. But if you don’t want to commit to owning an island? You could buy this one-bedroom in Park Slope for about the same price. Which, you know, it’s not an island, but you would have a backyard! And you’d be in Brooklyn. Ah. Who needs Hudson River views anyway? Not us. Besides, who are we kidding? We can’t even afford to buy the cheapest of these islands anyway. We’re going to go look at more castles now. And cry.
