10 Perfect Things to Do This Fall If You Are Single and Completely Alone
Volunteer at Sean Casey Animal Rescue
Well, so, after doing the slightly depressing solo, animal-related activity that is going to the zoo, why not do something that will make you feel good about yourself? Go to Sean Casey Animal Rescue and see about volunteering. You could do something as basic as taking some of the dogs that are sheltered there for a walk around the neighborhood, or maybe you could look into fostering one of them. Or maybe? Maybe? Since you’re all alone anyway? You could adopt a dog. Or a cat! Or even a bearded lizard. But, seriously, go for a dog or cat. There are so many animals in Brooklyn that need your love, so if you have nowhere else to direct it, think seriously about pet adoption. And fall is the perfect time to spend walking around Prospect Park or Owl’s Head Park or Fort Greene Park or any old park with a new pet walking by your side.
