5 Summer Cocktails To Get You Through This Miserable Heat
Mint Julep
While most of us tend to swap out bourbon for something lighter once temperatures start climbing above 70 degrees or so, it’s always been pretty hard to argue against an iteration as perfect and time-honored as the mint julep. Is anything more summery than a glass full of ice and muddled mint leaves? This isn’t a drink you can rightfully expect to have done well (or have done at all) at any given bar you walk into, though, and we’d recommend you leave this in the expert hands of the bartenders over at duckduck (they’ve got a nice grapefruit variation in the rotation), or if you’re really going all out, Maison Premiere, where there’s an entire section of the menu devoted just to juleps.
