NYPD Officer Arrested for Drunk Driving, Possibly for Second Time
Joseph King
The 28-year-old officer was arrested on the BQE in Queens Sunday morning around 4:40 a.m. after getting into an accident—the details are vague—trying to leave the scene, and refusing a breathalyzer test, Gothamist reports. Three years ago, an officer named Joseph King—then three years younger than 28—was arrested, also in Queens, for drunk driving: near Howard Beach, he wrecked his Accord against a Belt Parkway guardrail, the Daily News reported.
