Kevin Harlan’s Brilliant Color Commentary During MNF Is The Best Thing You’ll Hear Today
This week saw the triumphant return of the NFL, and while Week 1 of action was mostly filled with thrills and excitement, the last game of the week, the second of ESPN’s Monday Night Doubleheader, was a snoozer. The game saw two bad teams, the San Francisco 49ers and the newly-relocated Los Angeles Rams face off, in a game that was never close, as the 49ers ran away with it, winning 28-0. The game’s real highlight, meanwhile, came early in the fourth quarter, when most on the east coast–and, honestly, probably most on the west coast, too, had already turned in for the night.
A drunk fan charged the field, running all around before security took him out. But I cannot possibly do this event the justice that one Monday Night Football radio announcer Kevin Harlan did. His call of the drunk, unruly fan is simply amazing, and that’s all I can really say about it.
The guy is drunk! But there he goes!
