Britney Spears is Teaming Up with the Red Cross for the Coolest Raffle Ever

Britney Spears is proving to the world that she’s more than just the Princess of Pop and an actress in the cinematic masterpiece that is Crossroads. Yesterday, she took to Twitter to announce that she’ll be working with The Red Cross and CrowdRise to raise funds for the flood victims in Louisiana.

In case you’ve forgotten, Britney Spears is a southern gal from Kentwood, Lousiana, which, according to Wikipedia, is most notable for being her hometown. It’s a comfort to know that despite her departure from the small town, she still cares deeply about her roots. For a small $10 donation, you will be making a difference in the lives of the flood victims, as well as entering to win the coolest raffle ever. You’ll also be entered to win one of two amazing prizes. The grand prize will be two tickets to the MTV VMAs, where the winner will meet the princess herself before her performance. The other winner will get to keep the very outfit she will wear at the VMAs, and an autographed album.

You better enter, because as we all remember, anything can happen when Britney Spears is involved at the VMAs. She has been responsible for some of the award show’s most iconic and memorable moments, including the 2001 matching denim outfit she wore with then boyfriend Justin Timberlake, and then topping the night off, by performing arguably the best act the VMAs has ever seen: “I’m a Slave 4 U” in a skimpy outfit, with a giant yellow snake around her neck, establishing the era of the new bad girl Britney.

So, enter the raffle now to help Louisiana, and you might just win a part of history. Who knows, she might just kiss Madonna again in this outfit.
