About a month ago, Courtney Barnett’s Australian label Milk! Records partnered with Melbourne Festival to perform a pair of tribute shows honoring Patti Smith and the 40th anniversary of her iconic album Horses. Today, they’ve put several of those performances online, the most compelling of which is Barnett gracing the stage to perform a swaggering rendition of “Redondo Beach.” Watch below.
