Yvette Are Anything But “Calm And Content” In New Video
Gnarled noise-punk duo Yvette have become a fixture in New York’s hardcore scene since their inception a couple years ago. The New York-based band made up of vocalist/guitarist Noah Kardos-Fein and drummer Dale Eisinger is currently signed to Godmode Records. Their music is punishing wall of noise, but it’s also melodic in a way that allows people who aren’t necessarily fans of heavy stuff to connect to it. That was certainly the case for me, I originally listened because Eisinger is an old friend of mine, but found myself eventually hooked by each song’s chaotic, hypnotizing aggression. Today they shared a video for “Calm And Content,” the lead track off their new EP Time Management. The clip was created by Anthony Sylvester and Ant DeRose. It’s full of antsy, uncomfortable close-ups, sped-up guitar riffs and plenty of drumstick shots. Watch below.
