British Naturalist David Attenborough Lovingly Narrates Adele’s “Hello” Video
Since Adele returned to form with the excellent devastation of “Hello” — which is breaking records left and right — most of world has watched the tear-jerking, sepia-toned video for the track. Most of the world includes the beloved British naturalist and broadcaster David Attenborough, who appeared on BBC Radio 1 and was asked by the host to lend his narrating skills to the clip’s intro. “Will Adele be cross with me?” Attenborough wonders, before deciding to risk it anyway. “She, like all pop stars, needs to hunt to survive,” he notes, before getting his own dig in at her ’90s era phone. But the whole thing is clearly done out of mutual respect, and it’s pretty hilarious to hear him consider Adele in her own ecosystem. Watch below.
