If you need something to do tomorrow night, something that will take your mind off the rain and gloom and allow you to look forward to the clear, crispy fall weather that is surely just around the corner, head over to Antoinette in Williamsburg, where the drinks will be flowing (what’s up PBR) and Refinery29’s Alyssa Coscarelli will be on hand to help to celebrate the launch of the Fall/Winter lines now available at the store.

CARLEEN SWEATER AND DENIM
While Antoinette was primarily a vintage store when owner Lexi Oliveri first opened in 2011, in the last four years Oliveri has begun to carry a carefully selected collection of mainly local brands, including Viva Aviva and Wray. As Oliveri explains via email, “Within the last few years and [with] the neighborhood demographic changing, it just made sense to bring in American designers (mostly designed in Brooklyn and/or made in NYC with price points under $350) and it seems to be working.”

Along with a newly relaunched website, Antoinette is also ushering in fall with a new series of photos, shot at the historic Wyckoff Farmhouse in Canarsie, a setting which Oliveri accurately describes as being both “magical” and in possession of a “storybook feeling.”
For information about the event, check out the flyer below. It’s a great opportunity to support a local business—which in turn supports other local businesses—and also, you know, buy some beautiful clothes and drink some beautiful beer.
