Glasser and Porches to Bring “Brooklyn Live at the Flea” Concert Series to a Close
First comes Labor Day, then comes the pumpkin spice latte, then comes winter. This is how the passage of time works. And this is why we must take advantage of every opportunity to experience the great outdoors — ok, more realistically, the couple square-mile radius outside of our respective apartments — before the frigid months eat us alive. Enter Brooklyn Live at the Flea, that free outdoor concert series at the Brooklyn Flea‘s Williamsburg outpost that brings joy to people’s hearts.
Before calling the season a wrap, the Bunce Group brings CGI-human- meets-actual-human Glasser and glitch prince Michael Beharie to Brooklyn Live’s stage on September 20 to acquaint you with the cooler air. The following week, on September 27, Porches‘, Nap Eyes‘ and Adult Mom‘s accidental anthems will lead you into the autumnal glow. All will be right in the world.
All you need to do is RSVP. (Bears repeating, both shows are free.) Do that here for Glasser and here for Porches, then make sure you’re set to see synth and beat wizards Mas Ysa, Young Ejecta and Ace Mo at the Flea this Sunday by RSVPing here.
Gates to the Brooklyn Flea (at 50 Kent Avenue in Williamsburg) will open at 10am, per usual, with music starting at 3pm and wrapping up around 6pm. In the words of my Dad in the days leading up to back-to-school week every year as a kid: “Summer has had a good run, but it’s not over yet. So be nice to your Mom.”
