Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival Starts Tomorrow, There Should Be Surprises In Store
For the eleventh straight year, the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Festival will see an abundance of legendary and era-defining acts taking the stage. Fans are usually in for something unexpected at Brooklyn Hip-Hop, including surprise appearances from super-star MCs not already on the bill. Past years have seen the likes of Busta Rhymes, Black Thought of The Roots and even Kanye West (yes, the great infallible genius) perform impromptu songs.
This year should probably be no different, but as of right now, here’s who we know will be gracing the stage this year:
Lion Babe
Freeway
Charles Hamilton
John Robinson
Torae
“Uncle Ralph” McDaniels
There will also be panel discussions, films and much food to be enjoyed. The festival kicks off tomorrow afternoon at 1pm at 50 Kent in Williamsburg and goes until Saturday, July 11th. You can buy tickets here.
