System-Wide Subway Problem Means Every Train Is Awful Today
Because everything today is garbage, including the slush-sleet-rain-puddle mess outside, the MTA has gleefully added on to your pile of daily woes with a system-wide signal problem that has every train running late, and therefore crowded with people in wet coats. Oh good.
The system problems, coupled by FDNY activity, meant that this morning’s commute was not fun. Plus, there was a manhole fire near the N and Q lines at East 59th Street, making it extra terrible to ride that line. For once, the usually terrible A/C/E line pulled through and was the only line not affected by the gross bottleneck. But expect delays the rest of the day. Happy March!
