Vintage Digs & Feminist Tattoos: The Best Galentine’s Day Ever at Antoinette’s
Although we’re not big on holidays, especially this whole Valentine’s Day thing, the idea of Galentine’s Day is something we can totally totally get behind. If you’re a gal and somehow not aware of this amazing holiday where women just appreciate other women for being awesome, let us just start by saying happy Galentine’s Day to you; you’re perfect and beautiful, despite the fact that you haven’t seen every single episode of Parks and Recreation (although you should definitely work on that).
And can you think of anything more special and empowering to do with your best ladies on Galentine’s Day than looking through racks of beautifully curated vintage clothing while getting feminist stick ‘n’ pokes? We can’t. And lucky for us Antoinette is offering just that. From noon to 4pm on Saturday the little Williamsburg vintage boutique is hosting a Galentine’s Day event with a chance to shop their Pre-Spring vintage collection at 10% off while sipping mimosas. An all the while local artist Tea Leigh will be there providing a selection of awesome stick ‘n’ pokes!
We’re going to dub this a new tradition—like long-stem roses and chocolates on Valentine’s day, vintage clothing and a “bad bitch” tattoo on Galentine’s Day. It’s first come first serve, so get there early. Happy Galentine’s Day, beautiful baes!
