It’s Too Cold To Murder People
At least there’s one good thing about this spate of miserable weather. As of Sunday, New York City has gone a solid week without a single homicide. That’s right people, we are out of the murder business, at least temporarily. Maybe we can match last February, when the five boroughs went a whole ten days without a killing. Makes you wonder if the NYPD have one of those “We have gone ___ days without a murder” calendars.
The last homicide occurred at 11:16 pm on February 1 in Harlem, but the city has been murder-free since then, at least as far as the records show, the Daily News reports. The statistic doesn’t take into account victims of assault who might die later, cheerfully. Let’s keep this trend rolling! Remain indoors! No murders!
