The White Castle on Atlantic Avenue Closed
Get your Harold and Kumar jokes in now, because the number of Brooklyn-based White Castles to can make them in is rapidly diminishing. Last year saw the closure of the Metropolitan Avenue location of the hamburger chain as well as the one on Myrtle Avenue. Now the one on Atlantic Avenue has quietly shuttered, according to Brownstoner. The humanity! Will we have to trek to queens when we get the munchies now?
The tally of White Castles: There are four remaining locations in Brooklyn, three in Queens, and two each in Manhattan and Staten Island. The Bronx has five, so if all else fails you can hop on the good old 4/5.
