Opening Day Fire At Threes Brewing Delays Roberta’s Pop-Up
Remember that Roberta’s pop-up in new Gowanus brewery and bar Threes Brewing? Well, it’s not there quite yet. Threes Brewing had a humdinger of an opening weekend thanks to a small fire in their kitchen on Thursday. The bar got up and running, but the oven was out of commission, which meant that Roberta’s couldn’t make its delicious wood-fired pizza treats.
Luckily, Delaney’s Barbecue stepped in to the rescue to serve up some chow to hungry barflies this weekend. The menu alternated on different days, but offerings included a lamb corndog, fried brussels sprouts, and a brisket taco. Not Roberta’s but also very delicious sounding.

By the time I popped by Threes on Sunday, everything was running smoothly, including the 20 taps. For more on the Threes Brewing opening, check out the write-up here by Meredith Heil.
