Sponsored: Basil Twist Takes On The Rite of Spring at Lincoln Center’s White Light Festival
You can’t have a ballet without dancers…or can you? (Hint: the answer is yes!) See for yourself at Lincoln Center’s White Lights Festival, where director and puppeteer Basil Twist will present his take on Stravinksy’s The Right of Spring.
Twist’s piece provides a stunning perspective on the historically subversive musical score, which will be played by the Orchestra of St. Luke’s. We couldn’t be more excited to see what he has in store for us; the imaginative performance is sure to augment the music’s avant garde nature.
Performances run October 15-18. For a special glance behind the scenes of this show, be sure to check out the pre-concert discussion with Twist and Jane Moss (the woman behind the festival) at 6:15 PM on October 17th.
