Is Brooklyn Getting a Sky Gondola?!
The plan: High-speed aerial cars move people across the river at the rate of 5,000 folks per hour. Levy, who runs CityRealty and thought up the idea on a ski trip (yep) told the Daily News that it would be “a relatively inexpensive and deployable solution.” A solution for the growing population of Brooklynites who commute to Manhattan, or the increasing number of people who yearn for more opportunities to be in a gondola? Either.
Of course, we already have one gondola that ferries people back and forth from Roosevelt Island. But why stop at one, New York?
