Xi’an Famous Foods Adds Second Brooklyn Location
Hand-pulled noodle joint Xi’an Famous Foods has gone a long way from its original shop in Flushing, Queens. Father-son co-owner team Jason Yang and David Shi are bringing their spicy lamb burgers and other bits of delectable northwestern Chinese cuisine to three new locations in the next six months, including a second outpost in Brooklyn.
The new Xi’an Famous Foods will take root in Greenpoint, at 648 Manhattan Avenue near Nassau Avenue, DNAInfo reports. The shop will be the first one to offer outdoor seating. No exact opening date has been set, but Yang is aiming to open the doors in the next month. Until then, Greenpointers can always trek to Xi’an Famous Foods’ other Brooklyn location in East Williamsburg, at 86 Beadel Street.
