Nunu Chocolates Expanding To Park Slope

Expansion is the name of the game in Brooklyn this year. Between Four & Twenty Blackbirds, Mast Brothers (who recently got namedropped by Jared Leto on The Tonight Show), Ample Hills Creamery and Chuko Ramen, we can definitively say that second (or third) locations are what’s up in 2014. And now, all of the above are being joined by Nunu Chocolates, which is expanding into Park Slope this fall.
According to Here’s Park Slope, the highly-successful chocolatier will take over the space formerly occupied by cannoli shop A’Putia at 179 Fifth Avenue between Lincoln and Berkeley Places. The new spot will function as both a shop and cafe.
And if you’re at all familiar with the flagship Nunu in Boerum Hill then you know that the shop is also known for having three beers on tap. This new space will more than triple that number, bringing 10 taps to the ever-loving people.
If all goes well, the new Nunu should be open by late September/early October.
