At this point, Williamsburg doesn’t really want for good food, but that doesn’t mean the hits won’t stop coming. In the coming weeks, the North Brooklyn neighborhood is getting a new ramen joint and a taqueria.
First, according to Bedford + Bowery, Oaxaca Taqueria will open its sixth location at 130 Grand Street near Berry Street in the next few months. The taco chain offers plenty of to-go bites like tacos, quesadillas and enchiladas stuffed with barbacoa, papas y rajas and ceviche de pescado among other tasty choices. The eatery will also feature beer and wine, a first for the chain. For a preview, feel free to check out the Oaxaca Taqueria locations in Bed-Stuy and Park Slope.
Down the street, Minca Ramen Factory is set to bring their version of “authentic Japanese soul food” to Williamsburg. The ramen shop will be a sister restaurant to the East Village’s Minca and Kambi Ramen at 14th and 1st.
Neither eatery has an exact opening date yet.
