Landhaus Outpost Opens At Williamsburg’s The Woods

Like Tchoup Shop before them, Landhaus has decided to pair up with a bar to bring their delicious bites to the masses. After a false start of sorts, the folks behind the Smorgasburg sandwich spot recently announced that they’re officially partnering with The Woods (48 S. 4th St. nr. Wythe Ave.) to open a permanent location in the Williamsburg bar.
According to Eater NY, the “Farm-To-Sandwich” business will operate a full kitchen in the backyard, serving offerings from their regular menu like the $8 Lamburger (lamb and pork fat-back, whipped sheeps milk feta, house made harissa, grilled onions and cilantro on Napoli Bakery roll) and their version of the $6 BLT, which involves Landhaus’ award winning bacon. In addition to all that goodness, there will be an expanded menu featuring glazed pork spareribs, jalapeño cheddar hushpuppies, and a “blue plate special” rotating between dishes like steak with marrow butter and fried chicken with biscuits and collard greens.
Landhaus at The Woods is now in its soft open-phase, but if you can’t make it over there just yet, let this video of owner Matthew Leif making the shop’s BLT sandwich tide you over:
