Here’s What You’ll Find On Pok Pok NY’s New Breakfast Menu
If you’re like us and believe that Thai food can be enjoyed at any time of the day, then you’re in luck.
Starting today, Thai hotspot Pok Pok NY is officially serving breakfast in addition to their devastatingly delicious lunch and dinner menus. We caught up with the eatery and asked for a full rundown of their new offerings.
Here’s the “grab-and-go” menu:
$3 Mantou: a Chinese/Thai-style steamed bun stuffed with sweet shredded pork and topped with fried shallots.
$3 Khanom Pan Ping: toasted pan bread “soldiers” buttered and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk
$5 Khanom Pan Ping: toasted pan bread “soldiers” with sankhaya, a rich coconut custard flavored with pandan, for dipping
$5 Khai Luak: two coddled eggs cracked into a glass with pan bread toast “soldiers” for dipping.
In addition to that tasty lineup, Pok Pok will also sling Stumptown coffee alongside their full beverage menu, which includes such hits as Thai iced tea with fresh lime juice, pok pok som “drinking vinegars,” teas from Portland’s Steve Smith and coconut water.
Visit Pok Pok (117 Columbia Street at Kane St.) between 8am and noon to give the new morning menu a try.
