Celebrate St. Paddy’s Day At 3rd Annual Grand Street Pub Crawl
We are a mere three days away from St. Patrick’s Day and despite the fact that it’s already mired in controversy (in fact, Sam Adams pulled their support from Boston’s parade today), most of us should be able to enjoy the day at non-parade events throughout the city.
One of those events is the Grand Street Pub Crawl, which has been organized by the go-getters at the Grand Street Business Improvement District. From 5 to 9 p.m. on Monday, the pub crawl will wind down Grand Street hitting up 10 bars and eateries including Bushwick Country Club, Redd’s and Noorman’s Kil (which we recently named Best Whiskey Bar on our Southerner’s Guide To Brooklyn) among many, many others.
Along the way, crawlers are encouraged to take advantage of one-day deals like $10 Bangers and Mash at The Saint Austere, $4 draft beers at DAR and a number of Irish Car Bomb deals.
The tour will kick off at LP & Harmony (683 Grand St. nr. Manhattan Ave.) and end at the undeniably Irish Williams & Bailey (507 Grand St. nr. Union Ave.) where visitors are welcome to chow down on an open face corned beef sandwich, cabbage and boiled potato plate for $12.
