Tonight: French Comfort Food Pop-Up at Fritzl’s Lunch Box

Bonjour, mes amis! Joyeux Mardi Gras!
We may be 900+ miles away from New Orleans, but it doesn’t mean we can’t celebrate Fat Tuesday in style. According to Bushwick Daily, Marie Gribouille of the Cantine food series will host a pop-up dinner at Fritzl’s Lunch Box (173 Irving Ave. at Stockholm St.) tonight at 7 p.m.
The French native will prepare raviolis, veal liver, puffy potatoes, Japanese curry and top it all off with flan. The meal will also include a glass of wine and patrons are free to choose from (and pay for) Fritzl’s varied beer selection.
The four-course meal will set you back $35 and be infinitely more classy than the debauchery going on elsewhere. To reserve a spot send an email to cantinecantine@gmail.com. Seatings will take place at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
