How to Celebrate Fat Tuesday in Brooklyn
Way Station: Our favorite Tardis bedecked bar is throwing their third annual Mardi Gras bash on Tuesday, complete with Abita beer specials and stiff Sazeracs (created in a French Quarter bar in 1838, they’re credited as being America’s first cocktail), along with beads, beads, beads, and live swing music from the Buhre Station Stomp Society, which plumbs the catalogues of jazz greats like Benny Goodman, Duke Ellington and Louis Armstrong.
