How to Celebrate Fat Tuesday in Brooklyn
Whether you actually plan on giving something up for Lent or not, after the long, hard slog of February, the jovial, let-it-all-hang-out debauchery surrounding Mardi Gras sounds awfully appealing. Granted, Brooklyn’s scaled-down tribute to the bawdy New Orleans-based holiday doesn’t exactly involve half naked parades around Grand Army Plaza.
But after the winter we’ve had, sipping Sazeracs on a Tuesday in a crowded, bead-strewn bar sounds like the perfect antidote to our seasonally induced slump.
