Chateau de Alik: Chef Alik (the self-proclaimed “Man With the Golden Hands”) melds Asiatic, Middle Eastern and French influences at this Sheepshead Bay restaurant and banquet hall. But we much prefer the unfussed fare of his homeland, like chubareke (fried turnovers), vareniki (meat-stuffed dumplings) chicken tabaka (poultry cooked under a brick), farshmak (herring salad) and semga (cold smoked Siberian sturgeon).
