The Whole Foods crusade on Brooklyn continues. As some of you may or may not know, a Williamsburg Whole Foods has been in the works for a while and now Brownstoner has shared new renderings of the building (which will sit at 242 Bedford Avenue between N. 3rd and 4th Streets) and the store looks refreshingly different from the images of a glass monstrosity Gothamist shared back in October.
The company secured a $45 million loan last year and all signs point to the inevitability of its completion. In fact, a literal sign outside the construction site says that the building will be completed by Winter 2014, exactly a year after the Gowanus location opened its doors.
We’ll keep you updated as more news rolls in.
