Unpopular Opinions: 10 Wildly Popular Things in 2013 That Everyone Liked But I Didn’t Understand
Breaking Bad: Let’s start off with a bang, shall we? Bang. I don’t get Breaking Bad. I mean, Bryan Cranston seems great (even if he does think The Art of Fielding is just about baseball) and I know that I can’t really talk because I didn’t watch the whole series, but, well, that’s the thing. I tried to watch Breaking Bad, I really did. But I just couldn’t slog through the first two seasons. Which, everyone has told me to get to the 3rd season, when it gets good. And that’s where I draw the line. I have to draw the line somewhere, right? I’m usually really bad at drawing lines (they get all wavy), but I will draw one at spending 20 hours watching something that I don’t like only to get to something that I may or may not like. My time is actually more valuable than that. So maybe I’m missing out on something, but what I’m not missing out on is the greatest show ever on television. Because the greatest show ever on television? Doesn’t contain 20 hours of mediocrity. And, also, it’s the Sopranos.
