If You Need to Take a Break From Beyoncé This Weekend, Here Are Five Brooklyn Holiday Events to Attend
Atlantic Avenue Window Walk
There are many places to go check out the holiday lights in Brooklyn. I can’t recommend enough taking a trip over to Dycker Heights and experiencing a whole neighborhood that’s gone full-on Clark Griswold. But besides just doing the whole gawking-at-the-gaudiness thing, check out the many beautifully decorated commercial windows on Atlantic Avenue, where you can not only admire the snowflake decor, but can also stop by at some of our favorite shops, like Collier West, Erica Weiner, and Goose Barnacle, and do even more holiday shopping while supporting Brooklyn’s small businesses. Because, you know, Sephora terrifies me is great and everything, but ’tis the season to shop local.
