Oh, I know what you’re thinking. Shrimp parmigiana? Shellfish with cheese? What kind of crazy Italian-American bastardized dish is this? Well, it’s just one of the most delicious (carb-heavy!) meals you’ll ever have. That might be partly due to to rich, oregano-heavy, intensely flavored red sauce that the breaded shrimp and pasta are drenched with, but no matter! The whole dish (which is also smothered in beautifully melted mozzarella) comes together so beautifully that you don’t even care if it’s wrong. It just tastes so right.
