Eight Ways You Should Spend Your Remaining Fall Weekends in Brooklyn
Marathon horror movies at Videology
Like the connoisseurs that they are, the team at Videology has been screening back-to-back horror movies every single hour they’ve been open this month, and will continue doing so every day until Halloween. Each day is organized around a different theme (“Demonic and occult possession” movies, Korean horror movies, etc.), so you can pick and choose, whether your thing is seeing sexy teenagers get disemboweled or just cryptic, atmospheric explorations of the nature of evil in this world. This weekend’s screenings are maybe the most promising, with 1960s horror planned for Saturday, and Sunday’s screening plunging straight into the 70s, one of horror’s all-time best decades. Grab a bowl of sea salted popcorn and a cocktail (remember, they have those now), and make a day of it.
