Five Fall Weekend Trips To Get You Out of Brooklyn
By Virginia K. Smith
Fall may not have quite the same urgency as summer when it comes to leaving Brooklyn for the weekend, but then, nothing ever really stops the need that crops up every few months to just get out for a while. That happens year-round. And it doesn’t hurt that even if it happens to be 80 degrees for no reason, October is one of the most beautiful times of year to visit just about any place that’s even a little bit removed from the city.
Whether your interests veer towards obscure medical oddities, long walks in idyllic, secluded nature, or just relaxing and drinking some locally made booze, there are plenty of good excuses for anyone to get out of Brooklyn for a day or two. It’ll all still be here for you when you get back.
