Meow Meow Tweet Launches Soothing Body Tonics For Fall
Bushwick-based company Meow Meow Tweet has been turning out some top-of-the-line, all-natural vegan products (like their excellent bug repellant and one of the few natural deodorants on the market that actually works) for a while now, and in cartoon-laden, biodegradable packaging, to boot. If we had to nitpick anything about their line, though, it would have been the lack of good-smelling potions to spray onto your face while sitting at your desk and wishing there was time to go outside. No more.
Earlier this month, co-founders Tara Pelletier and Jeff Kurosaki launched a series of essential oil-based body tonics in a range of three natural, unisex fragrances, originally concocted for their own personal use. Given that they include witch hazel, rose water, and just about every other natural ingredient you’d find in a good, gentle toner, the tonics are excellent to use on your face throughout the day, but also work well on the rest of the body (they’re great on bug bites), as a light natural fragrance, a mild deodorant, a way to freshen up rooms and linens… essentially, if you can think of a way to use these, it’ll probably work. And if you suddenly start to think of every other product in your arsenal as comparatively lazy, you may be onto something.
