What to Do at Every Stop Along the R Train
86th Street
86th Street, between Fourth and Fifth (even Sixth) avenues, is a major commercial hub. Granted, since the record stores and KB Toys closed, there’s nowhere we really want to go around here, except RadioShack. Why have we been to RadioShack several times already this year? We’re not tech-y or gadget-y at all. Oh, and Century 21, where we buy all of our Van Heusen shirts at discounted prices. Also near here is Grand Sichuan House, the only Chinese restaurant I’ve ever been in where every single customer was also Chinese. That’s how you know it’s good, right?
